Just before my 39th birthday, I had a wake up call. While vacationing at a tropical resort, I tried to play volleyball, but got too tired to stay in the game. Once an athlete, I had let myself go. I was no longer fit and I was very unhealthy.

As I sat on the beach, the water lapping at my feet, I realized I had to make a change. So, I decided to get healthy and fit.

How does online training work?

When you go to a personal trainer, you usually have a goal in mind.  They work with you to set up programming and nutrition to help you reach those goals.  Personal trainers provide encouragement and accountability.  Very good personal trainers also use the time you have together to provide additional information and insight into health and fitness.

Online personal training is not much different.  I'll still be helping you understand what you need to do to reach your goals and providing additional health and fitness advice.  I'll be in your corner all the way providing encouragement and accountability.  You just don't have to pay me to count reps (I think you can count).

Another cool thing about online personal training is that we don't have to sync our schedules to make it work.  Life just has a way of getting in the way.  But with an online environment, you don't have to wait until our next session to ask questions.  This flexibility makes it fit your lifestyle, which is a key for sticking with a program.

Can I really get results with an online coach?

Yes, with one caveat: Are you willing to make changes?  I can't do it for you.  But I can provide guidance, support, encouragement, and accountability.  

In my experience, most personal trainers are there to give you a good workout. Whether it is to lose weight or get stronger, you do the workout and leave.

As an online coach, I'm very different. Not only can we track your workouts and nutrition, I'm right there on your phone or on your computer. Whether you prefer to message me through the app or email me directly, I'm there to answer your questions and give you the support you need to reach your health and fitness goals.

What if I'm not very tech savvy?

I have set up the process to be very easy to use.  If you can log on to a website or app and do email, you're good to go.  There will be a single community location website for you to go.  The conference calls work just like a work-style call, where you call in to a set number. And, if you're a part of the one-on-one training, I'll provide step by step guidance on what I need you to do so I can customize your programming and nutrition.

What if I don't like to or can't exercise?

Isn't personal training expensive?

The short answer, yes.  It can be very expensive if you pay a personal trainer to be with you each and every time you train.  Most personal trainers charge from $40 - $150 per session.  If you train three times per week, that can add up to $500 - $2,000 per month!  

That is one of the advantages of online training.  You're not paying someone to count reps.  If you're willing to do the work, you'll see the same benefits at a fraction of the cost.

  2. Regular check-ins of the specific habits you're working on through the 40+ Fitness App and regular messaging and emails from Coach Allan to gently nudge you forward.
  3. A private Facebook Group where you can ask other group members to help.

Do I have to sign a long-term contract?


I do expect you to make a commitment to yourself, but that doesn't require a long-term contract with me. I'll be there with you every day, every week, every month, until you get the results you want.

Do I have to buy supplements and equipment?

Do you do one-on-one training?
